It has been a fun week as we all prepare for the first game with James Harden. The week began with the All Star game where we watched Embiid prove himself to be one of the very best players in the NBA. He had 34 points and if not for Curry going wild, would have been the MVP. The week ended with Harden’s debut where the Sixers were amazing and won by 31 points against a good Minnesota team. Here are some of my favorite posts of the week.
- Sixers star Joel Embiid puts on big performance for Team Durant in ASG – Joel was fantastic in the all star game. Maybe the most impressive part was how his team deferred to him in the 4th quarter.

- Embiid amazed by wide-open looks as Sixers happily transition to Harden era – The offense could not have looked much better. Harden just makes it easy on everyone else.

- Daryl Morey reacts to James Harden’s Sixers debut, calls him basketball genius – Daryl Morey is widely considered one of the best GMs in the game. When he says a player is a genius, he knows what he is talking about.
- James Harden lives up to hype in Philadelphia debut as 76ers rout Minnesota Timberwolves – We all wanted to see how Embiid and Harden played together. It is only one game, but early reviews are very positive.
